VTec is VaultTec's govtech platform for the registration, oversight and auditing cycle of vehicle fleets at traffic agencies. It is in production, serving DETRANs and traffic agencies.

The challenge

Traffic agencies and DETRANs handle vehicle registration, oversight and auditing through largely manual processes backed by legacy systems that don't talk to each other. The result is rework, low traceability and difficulty proving compliance against regulatory requirements.
